Setting up innovative social projects through which students develop practical skills and a pro-active attitude in addition to their theoretical knowledge.
Through SIFE-VU students learn how to translate their growing awareness of the world around them in applicable solution driven competences.
By addressing defined societal needs, our projects integrate knowledge and resources in exactly those places in society where this is needed. This can be at the Vrije Universiteit, in our own city of Amsterdam, as well as in the Netherlands as a whole, Europe and other places in the world.

Addressing these topics ensure that our targeted audiences will gain more insight in the subjects and the global SIFE heritage. These topics provide SIFE VU projects with a strong foundation. Through the use of a Business Advisory Board -existing of business and university leaders- SIFE VU receives professional guidance and feedback on their projects and personal development.
